About this Market
On August 14 it was reported that Democratic VP candidate Tim Walz had agreed to CBS News' offer to debate Vance on October 1 (see: https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-democratic-vp-nominee-walz-accepts-cbs-news-offer-debate-vance-oct-1-2024-08-14/). This market will resolve to "Yes" if Tim Walz and J.D. Vance engage in a live, publicly-broadcast debate on October 1, 2024. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Both in-person debates and virtual debates will count toward a "Yes" resolution for this market. The resolution source for this market will be footage of such a debate, however a consensus of credible sources will also be used.
